OG stands for Ocean Grown. Many people have made the mistake of thinking it stood solely for “Original Gangsta” but that’s not the case. This abbreviation in context originates from the long lineage of strains that flourish on North America’s west coast. This particular batch of OG Outdoor is quite the strain.
At first glance, these buds are medium green in colour and size. The trim is great and upon closer inspection, one can see an abundance of crystals and tightly woven red hairs packed into these spongy morsels. Now upon smelling the bag for me is where the adventure really begins. Inhaling the fragrances leaned me towards earthy and sweet but upon breaking these open and busting them up we went a whole other way. When I broke open these flowers I was overwhelmed by a strong terp-like aroma that favoured the many “Tuna” strains that so many people (myself included) enjoy.
From there, things just got better. Though by the time that you all read this all of the THC counts from testing will be completed, I have currently yet to do that. That being said, I can say that the high was strong and long-lasting. The buzz is most definitely based in the way of the indicas. At first, you will notice a great cerebral buzz followed quickly by a nice body buzz to finish the effect. You will be left in a great uplifted state but not couch locked. Obviously, this hybrid plays both sides of the indica and sativa fence.
